United Abolitionists' Board of Directors established the Elpis Fund to help provide financial support for UA's mission: ending human trafficking through rescue, prevention, and restoration.
Named after Elpis, the Greek goddess of hope, the Fund is intended to help critical, life-saving work continue through short-term funding cycles and economic uncertainty.
WHAT THE ELPIS FUND IS
The Elpis Fund is a board-designated investment fund of United Abolitionists, Inc., established by UA's Board of Directors to help support the mission over the long term.
United Abolitionists focuses entirely on the work that matters most—rescuing victims, restoring survivors, educating communities, and advancing the fight against human trafficking.
The Fund is professionally managed under an investment policy adopted by UA's Board of Directors, with the aim of growing responsibly and managing risk across market cycles.
This structure allows UA to stay focused on impact while the Fund is managed with disciplined financial stewardship and regular reporting to the Board.
UA's Board of Directors invests the Fund with the goal of generating financial support for the mission in the years ahead.

Contributions are unrestricted gifts to United Abolitionists, Inc. The Elpis Fund is a board-designated fund, not a donor-restricted endowment. The Board of Directors retains full discretion over the use of all Fund assets, including principal, in furtherance of UA's mission.
Investments involve risk, including possible loss of principal, and the value of the Fund will fluctuate. The Fund pays the costs of its investment management and custody.
Investment management services are provided under a separate engagement and do not constitute ownership, sponsorship, or operational control of the Fund.
